NEW YEARS EVE: PUTNAM FOUNDATION HATS AND BATS GALA READY TO HIT A HOME RUN
Seattle, WA (December 14, 2006) -- Peter M. Putnam Foundation will hold it Annual Hats and Bats Gala on December 31, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seattle, WA. Doors open at 6pm and the evening features a silent and live auction, dinner & dessert, followed by an evening of entertainment, music and dancing until midnight. It is a night of fun, special surprises, special guest and helping kids. The Executive Director of the Putnam Foundation Chris Turnley said “Last year was at the top of the charts and we are looking to go off the charts this year!” What more could you want to bring in the New Year?

PUTNAM FOUNDATION HELPS NORTH SEATTLE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB BRING BACK FOOTBALL
Seattle, WA , November 27, 2006 – Football was back in action for seventy kids in the North Seattle Boys and Girls club. After seven long years without access to football due to lack of funds, students from low-income and minority families ranging in age from 8-10 were provided the funds by the Putnam Foundation to play on the North Seattle Boys and Girls club 89ers football team in the Ballard Football League.

Through the generosity of all those who attended the New Year’s Eve Hats and Bats Gala, the Putnam Foundation partnered with N. Seattle Boys and Girls Club to bring youth football back to an area that was in need of an accessible for program for kids.

Putnam Foundation teams with Soccer and Scouting to Score Big with Puget Sound Kids.
The Putnam Foundation has committed to support the Seattle Soccer and Scouting program to connect young boys and girls to the values, lessons and fun of Scouting. The Boy Scouts of America has launched its Soccer and Scouting program as an outreach to Hispanic youth and families. Soccer and Scouting will teach soccer skills and provide exciting competition, and at the same time boys will be Cub Scouts and learn the life-long values taught in the Scouting program. All of the materials will be published in English and Spanish.

2ND ANNUAL "STRIKE FOR TIKES" RAISES AWARENESS, DOLLARS FOR AREA KIDS!
SPOKANE, WA (June 5, 2006) – The Peter M. Putnam Foundation is holding its second annual Strike for Tikes event benefiting local Spokane and Coeurd d’Alene area kids. Last years event raised over $10,000 to support over 300 local kids participate in youth sports through the YMCA, Little league, boys and girls clubs.
