Local Radio Stations Support Garlic Jims Promotion
The Putnam Foundation would like to thank local radio stations, KLSY, KUBE and KMPS for their assistance to raise money to support local sports programs and their communities. Kids will benefit year after year from this partnership between Garlic Jims and the Putnam Foundation. The Communities will be stronger and the kids will gain skills that will enhance their lives and touch people all around them.

Putnam Foundation and Spokane YMCA partner for kids
The Putnam Foundation kicked off a long-term partnership designed at making sure all kids in Spokane get a chance to play. In 2005, The Putnam Foundation will be sponsoring 75 children in a variety of sports. These organizations will work together to develop programs designed to give each kid a chance to experience and learn and from a competitive situation.

Garlic Jims to Help "Raise Dough For Kids"
SEATTLE, September 22, 2005 -- Garlic Jim's Gourmet Pizza will team with the Putnam Foundation throughout October to raise money to support kids in local Western Washington Communities. The first annual “Raising Dough for Kids” Campaign will involve Washington based corporate and franchise Garlic Jim’s stores. Money raised by the campaign will go to further the Putnam Foundation vision of increasing access to sports for all youth in Washington regardless of circumstances.

Seattle Scores and Putnam Foundation bring Soccer and Reading to Emerson Elementary
Seattle SCORES develop programs that use the world's most popular sport, soccer, to energize and inspire public school students. These programs require that our children use the teamwork they learn on the soccer field to support each other as poets and authors in the classroom. The combination is unique and it works. Every day, SCORES programs are creating a bond between thousands of our students and their classmates, their teachers, their schools and their communities!

Putnam Foundation Launches Spokane Field of Dreams
The Putnam Foundation has made a long term commitment to fund the baseball league that will bring organized baseball to North Spokane. We have partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County to make sure that hundreds of children in that community will have the opportunity to play, get involved, and learn the game of baseball, including leadership skills of the “American Pastime.” We want to thank all of those who donated to the “Field of Dream” fund that made this project possible. This is the first of many projects the foundation will be funding this year.

Spokane Companies "Strike it Big" for kids in Spokane
On May 6th, 20 Spokane Area Companies and over 100 people sponsored the 1st Annual "Strykes for Tykes" at Players and Spectators. It was an amazing event that raised over $10,000 to sponsor local kids involvement in Youth Sports. The Friday was highlighted by an amazing time and show of support by the local business community. Amy Mason, Pete Chase and Sharon Perry were vital in the organization of the event.
